Mood rings

I was 10 or 11 when I had my first one so it would have been in the late 70's and yes,I still have mine.....LOL

We do remember and we ourselves buy a new one each year at the swap meet/flea market we vend at on a yearly basis. They are up the row and around the corner from us. I recently found mood lipstick for my daughter. That is fun too. They first appeared in the 1970's.

I am wearing one now but I think I need a new one it just stays blue now so I think it is not working any more, they seem to be in fashion again...

I am not exactly sure when and why mood rings came about, but I do remember them. In fact I use to have a whole collection of different mood rings, not sure what happened to them, moved to much and they got lost somewhere along the way. I don't own one now, but I do have a little plastic card thing that you place your thumb on and hold it there for like a minute and it is the same thing as one of those mood rings.

They came out in the 70's sometime. I didn't own one but I had a friend who did. She always had cold fingers & never could get the thing to turn anything but black unless she was out in the Texas heat

I've seen them before. I just thought they were a big hippie scam thing. Do they really work if they do then thats a first for me. DO they even sell them anymore?
