Experiences at mylot.com

I joined mylot in August 2006 and since then I have been constantly participating in this site, posting discussions and responses. I really enjoyed being here for the simple reason, this is a very friendly site, with good lot of good members. If I do not visit the site in a day, I feel there is something missing in the day.

I think Mylot is really a good experience you meet people from different backgrounds cultures know their point of view also it is nice to read a lot of good discussions, sometimes you feel discouraged and hurt to read some responses but that can't be helped we have to learn to adjust to all sorts of natures otherwise overall it is good.

I have been here since just few days & I find mylot very interesting place to chat, share things, always learn something in bargain...To be honest I have responded to many discussions some meaningful, some just for the sake of earning some points...But always found that there would be something interesting or funny or silly or attimes really helpful comments.... I can just I love being on MYLOT.....

I havent really had any negative experiences yet. But I like others opinions which is why I post discussions in the first place. This is supposed to be a place of friendly discussion, there is no need for people to be rude. Although I know some will eventually, but I do not see any need in that. So, hopefully I wont encounter that.

So far so good! I have really liked it here. I met you. *wink* I have replied to many discussions. I signed up to many more links to help other members out. I joined to have a "message board" type place to go to. Making money is just a added bonus.

I love myLot much more as I've got these of my experiences: * I found many informations I really need: links to many good sites, tips on how-to's, etc. * I feel different in English skill if I make comparison with the time before I joined myLot. Really I enjoy this. * I have many interests. One of them is "life". I'd ever emotionally felt disturbed as knowing one of my friends posted discussion about abortion. I was glad when mine was denoted as best response in the discussion. But it's just for a moment before knowing that the abortion was done at last! Oh, My Gosh! Since then I could say that "we really are not alone!" * In the early time of my membership, I used to participate in the discussions with serious topics. That was a period of realizing that this site is so interesting to join. "Extra money is not the only thing" to be a reason why I still enjoy myLot! * Sometimes I feel bored; what I usually do to cheer me up is searching for and responding easy topics. Some are trivial things. But it's OK, I think. * Oh yeah... I posted many banners for myLot banner contest. That was my first participation in any online contest. Two of them were selected, that makes me feel supported! * Much more.......!!!! Thanks for this great post, Dpk262006! This invited me to reflect on what I've done and am doing here! God bless! ^_^

I have been here for 5 months now. The reason that I still am here, is not for the money, but for the friendships. I have found that there are a lot of very sweet friendly caring people here. I have not had problems with anyone. The downside is MyLot themselves. They have reduced our payout drastically. We work harder with lots of rules and regulations for less. They never respond to you. How do you like it?

Your experience here at myLot will depend on the reason you are here. I started here from curiosity in a slow period in the holidays and decided to stay for a couple of weeks. That was before Christmas! MyLot offers a forum where ideas, philosophies and thoughts on just about anything can be exchanged and debated. As long as you respect other's rights, speak courteously, and use clean language, there is no limit to what can be discussed. I have become good friends with a few people whose main interest in life is just about opposite mine, but we have shared some wonderful debates in a friendly and courteous manner. There are some people on myLot who don't "play the game". They post heaps and heaps of discussions and never return to read, rate and comment on them. I avoid these posters, and so do many others. Chose your friends wisely, respond to their discussions and enter threads with them. You'll enjoy your time here and be very thankful for some extra-special friendships.

I have had mostly good experiences here at MYLOT, however there has been days when I can't bare to stay here very long. Sometimes, it's just too overwhelming to be surrounded by nags and pestimists. I love MYLOT but sometimes people can make something beautiful turn ugly quick. I am sure you have seen it as well.

I will not elaborate my respond for majority of my experiences in the past nearly 3 months is superb in mylot. I only have one unforgettable bad experience here and I really thank's my mylot friend for not giving up on me and keep believing on my ability as a credible member. I was a 2 weeks member that time and just a post of nearly 200 when I recieved a outstanding respond to my discussion and lots of best responses that earned me early 10 star rating. A bit happy with what I achieve a post a discussion thanking my friends about how I achieve the 10 star and later did I know a rude mylot member respond to me with bad words and even treatened me with bad words. He negatively rate me and all my discussion that in a matter of 22 hours from a 10 star I was slap down to 7 star. But that experience never made me give up on mylot because I really think a "quitter never wins" and being a credible member is beyond star rating that's why no matter how my star rating is I continue responding and gaining more best responses and more mylot friends respond to my discussion that little by little I achieved again my 9 star up to now. I really think our experiences here on mylot no matter how odd it was we should take it as a challenge and never try to give up. Nice discussion my friend!

im just a newbie here and i have a lot of experiences already. some are nice some are not. but this is what happend to me i joined mylot with the thought of earning cents here and so i did earned. and i really tried my best to answer more and more discussions and my cents grew into one dollar and 92 cents im happy about it. i hope i reached 10 dollars soon.

I have been a member of "mylot" three days ago! I'm enjoying it right now because i can share my thoughts to everyone! You know what i've never done this before 'sitting in my computer for almost 8 hours, straight huh..' But im not complaining it, it's just I love reading some other posts and making my own posts! I have a habit that I remember only good times and forget about bad things/times. So I really don't remember if I had any bad experience here on mylot.. My good experience includes good and nice friends like you in my list .. and the discussions started by you people is a tonic for me to know more and more about you and you are also a gainer in this regard .. you keeps on asking questions within your discussions and in this way you get to know more about your friends -- no doubt you are really intelligent and a great friend of mine .. I am missing the discussion .. ok coming back to the discussion now -- when I feel like -- a discussion is nothing but a fighting place .. I avoid it .. because I don't want to turn my good experience into bad one or if someone talks rudely to me in my post or anywhere in mylot -- I simply ignore that person .. this is what I have learnt from here that we should ignore such things and move on. It has been a generally nice experience here at mylot. Most of the members are very friendly. Many are very funny and they have such funny discussions and comments. Some provide real solutions to problems we may face everyday. I realise we have a lot in common with the members from all over the world. it is an over all positive experience. However, there are members who don't know we are just here to have fun and try to make it a little less exciting. Some attack other members and some are quite abusive also. But I will like to think they are in the minority.
