Veteran big man Alan Henderson – acquired by the Utah Jazz from the Philadelphia 76ers on the NBA's Feb. 22 trade deadline, then waived before ever setting foot in Utah because he never was in the Jazz's plans anyway – intends to re-sign with the 76ers later this month. By league rule, players in Henderson's circumstance must wait 30 days before re-joining their old teams.

Even though they did resign Henderson, it seems unlikely that he will be with the team at the beginning of this upcoming season after seeing who the Sixers drafted. They drafted quite a few big men so some of the current players may be gone in the near future. I think Henderson is a good player to have coming off the bench and for leadership abilities. He can help with the development of the younger players.
