Health Care for Retired Military

What are your opinions on health care for our retired military personnel? I oppose war, but realize the necessity for the military and believe that if these people are willing to give their lives for our country, they should have carte blanche (free medical care for ANYTHING) when it comes to health care. Instead, when the military cuts spending, health care is one of the first things to go. What is health care like for the military in other countries (other than America)? Our soldiers deserve better.

One of the exploited profession in government services is military. At the height of the national security, militaries were the front liners, at the moment of disaster military were the rescuers. In everyday lives, military personnel exercises their duties even holidays. It is just right that they will be given more than health care benefits but housing, insurance and retirement plan as well. In our country, philippines, soldiers mostly enlisted personnel have these following benefits: low salary, less benefits, usually when they retire it takes a decade to get their retirement benefit. They are the most neglected one in gov't services.

I'm sorry to hear that! Makes you question what value the government puts on human life, doesn't it?
