Why do women always have "mommy issues" and guys always have "daddy issues"?

I have come to realise that when me and my other (girl) friends come together we always tend to discuss how needy our mothers are. In addition to that we will discuss how guilty they make us feel. When I look at my relationship with my parents. I will probably always go to my dad when I have a problem, because unlike my mother who will focus on what I did wrong, my dad will provide me with solutions. On the other hand most guys I know (even though they won't openly admit it) has daddy issues. What are your experiences?

because girls can relate to girls and same with the boys.. they have things in mind that the opposite cant answer.. so maybe thats why we have those issues..
