Throw out some of your theories about what you yhink is going to happen at the of Lost. Are they going to get off the island? Will they be stuck there forever? Who knows?

I think maybe the show will end with them getting off the island. Or at least those of them who are left will get to. But I think a lot has to happen for anyone to be be able to leave the island...The Other's included. I mean why won't Ben just go mainland to get help with is spinal tumor, or whatever he had. Why rely on Jack....unless it's another part of all the psychological tests and tricks that have been going on. I think my newest theory is that the Dharma Initative is over...but that those people who were involved have stayed on...and have created thier own society, almost Lord of the Flies style. But as this continues, some of the old Dharma people are watching to see what happens. I actually do think some of the things that have happened are coincidence...but that most are being manipluated by some higher power....I don't mean god by that, but maybe a large corportation that runs everything, like Weyland-Yutani, or Blue Sun.

I think that that is a very interesting comment. You put through very good points that i agree with. You have a very good theory.

I kinda agree with everyone staying on and living in their own society. Kinda like the movie The Village. But....why was John Locke healed when he came to the island? I thought that it was a healing island but then why wasn't Ben healed? I don't think they will get off, if they did they wouldn't have a storyline. I think the only way we will find what the real story is, is if Lost ends. : (

Well this is more of a theory.... My theory is that well yea they will get off the island (most of them) But i remember in an episode... Forget his name, told charlie he was going to die no matter what he would do. So this would mean that alot of them will die on the island.. I doubt that the doctor (forget his name) and the girl and sawyer will die... Other then sawyer who might die.

Yea, I hope some of them do get off the island. There is no doubt that some more will die as 'the island' is unpridictable and anything could happen.I hope Jack, Sawyer and Kate don't die as these three are my favourite characters.

My current favorite theory: The Others are the hostiles. For some reason, they were sent there to stop the Dharma initiative and to 'guard' the island. That's why they live there. They have to protect it from outsiders because there's something powerful about the Island, and they know it. And they want to control it. Them, and possibly their corporate sponsors in the pharmaceutical industry. Anybody who does branding and believes in an 'eye for an eye' is up to no good. As for Locke, perhaps he used to be in the Dharma initiative. Or perhaps he was an Other, but he's definitely been there before. I found it interesting that he knew about the explosives but still pressed yes when asked whether the 'hostiles' had taken over the complex. But since he has stopped taken names and is now just kicking butts, I'm guessing he was with the Dharma initiative. How else would he have known about the hatch and found it? As for 'the list,' I think it was created after the crash, when the others found out who was on the plane. They went through the survivor's pasts and decided who was 'pure' enough to join them. Or, at least, gullible enough. As to the end, well, I'd like to see Jack get off the island and head up a rescue. But I don't think he'll come back and find very many people alive. Or perhaps the whole island will be desserted. I also hold out hope for Michell to redeem himself by returning with a bigger boat. I don't think Kate or Sawyer will make it. I don't expect Charlie or Locke to survive, either.

I'm just making this up right now but: The others will probably have a war with the people on the Beach, half of them will join the others, half will die. Then Jack, Sawyer, and Kate will survive. Then Kate will have to choose between Jack or Sawyer. Then knowing how the show goes, half the island will probably explode, and as Kate, Jack, and Sawyer are leaving they will find out that they are actually in a big box, and are all guinea pigs for aliens. :) Hehehe, wouldn't suprise me based on what the authors throw out there.

i think lost is going to end when it will make the viewers like "the others" and dislike the "losties" i think thats the main purpose of season 3 and it will possibly continue in season 4. so generally i think that most of the lsties that wont die will joint the others, and at the end of the series a plane will crash...

I really think all the story is a dream. They were all at the airport and the plane never took off. In the episode that Desmond traveled to the past, he sees every character at the airport so this could probably be someones dream, maybe hurley´s, dunno.

i think this is all john locke's dream. the ending is when john wakes up and then goes out to party with his friends (the other characters). it's lame i know, but it's possible! haha
