How much do you spend?

How much do you spend on popcorn, soda and goodies when you go to the movies? Do you feel the snacks are overpriced? Have you ever snuck in your own snacks or drinks?

It is way over priced! I am one who always sneaks food in. I bring in juice bags for my kids, a can of pop for me and we go to the store and pick up some candy for $1 before the movie. It helps to carry a big purse. I do buy the popcorn because there is nothing like movie theater popcorn with lots of butter!

Yep I agree, movie theater popcorn is the best! We sometimes stop at the dollar store. Our dollar store has candy bars 2 for $1. And sometimes they have the movie theater size boxed candy like Raisinetts. Our movie theater charges like $3.75 for the same box!

I rarely go to the theaters anymore, too expensive and too noisey. Where I live you can't sneak anything in, they check your bags first. So your forced to buy their stuff.

It is very expensive. It's not like the days when my husband and I were dating. You could do dinner and movie and not go totally broke!

Snacks at the movies are very over priced. Last weekend my wife, his sister and I went to the movies and paid 27 dollars just for three small popcorn bags and three sodas. I think that is a bit too much. I noticed that someone tried to sneak something in and they actually did not allowed them to get inside until they threw what they had in the garbage. unbelievable huh!

Wow I've never seen them catch someone sneaking food in. Although there are signs saying you can't bring outside food. I always hide a bottle water in my purse, sometimes I sneak in some raisinettes :)
