My 12 year old granddaughter slipped on the icy sidewalk and probably fractured her right angle, ,my oldest granddaughter who is 17 has a dang boyfriend! How come she has to do this? I helped raise her like a tomboy! I met her boy friend, he seems nice but, what if she wants to get married, what if she moves out, what if she wants ugh" babys? She's my little girl. She's been with us since birth. I don't know what to think! I don't want to lose her. I wish it was only a broken ankle for her too!

Poor Budsr :( that is an awful day. It is so hard to see your children hurt, but even harder to see them grow up and away. Letting go, ouch, has got to be the most difficult part of rearing children. When they are babies they have separation anxieties, when they are young adults we have separation anxieties.

I guess that's what i'm going through, separation anxieties? I knew it was something. How long does this last? I know what men and boys are like, well some anyways. I'm gonna keep a close eye on this guy! Thank you Modestah and take care.

hey, dont get too discouraged, you should be happy for her, if this guy turns out to be all the things you asked how to be then she is a very lucky girl! If he turns out to be a jerk then yo ucan be ther to help pick her up and get her feeling good again! :) I am sorry to hear that your youngest grandaughter broke her ankle! that kind of stuff is never fun, seeing a little one in pain and wanting nothing more than to take that pain away for them but you cant, its not something i would wish on anyone, though something i think all of us will have to endure at some point in our lives! Keep your chin up!!! brighter days will come!!!

I would never want to see my girl with a broken heart. I'm not sure how i would handle that. She is a very decent person, she deserves good treatment in life. I suppose thats i of my worries. How she will get treated. I think it is too soon to worry about this girl, boy thing. My 12 year old granddaughter seems to be fine, xrays show no fracture, but we have to keep an eye on the swelling. Thanx for caring MissBrittBC and take care.
