Stars Adopting

I think it is great for people to adopt children. I have no problem with movie stars adopting either. But, maybe I'm just over sensitive, I almost feel that Brangelina are adopting for the wrong reasons. They adopt almost like buying a new dress or a new car. It's like, let's go visit this country and get a kid. What about all the American children hoping to be adopted? I realize that there are a lot of extremely poor people in third world countries who need help. So I guess next year they will adopt another one, while another American child still waits.

I think more people should be in the habit of foster care, at least then the kid gets a place to stay, and doesnt have to live in a group home. If the family then decides to adopt, thats great. Stars should live with these children before adopting, if theyre too much to handle they cant just return them, and its better they live in the home than with a family who doesnt know how to care for them
