Whom do you consider a 'Role Model'

In good old days, our parents use to guide us to follow the foot steps of leaders like Nehruji, Gandhiji, Shastriji and all. In today's time, we are not able to add any new name. Do you think of any other person of present times who could be our 'Role Model'??

i have several role-models, or people whom I admire and aspire to become more like. There are co-workers that are now my friends as well that i admire. The way they do their job wants me to learn more and manage my job better - like them. I also have role-models among my friends. They way they are with people in their lives is an inspiration to me. I also think my parents and grandparents are my role models.

Your appreciation for the qualities of your friends is very true. Would you mind if I ask you a simple question--Have you tried to adopt any of the qualities of your friends in your practical life?
I have experienced that each of the qualities described by you is very difficult to adopt.
If your answere is yes then my hats are off for you.
Once you adopt any quality in your life then you can rightly guide your children to adopt it.

I consider my parents to be role models as they have done so much for me through the years and I look up to them and hope that I can be like them. They are very loving and caring parents and I trust them completely. My brother and sister are good role models as well. I have a couple of friends that I look up to as well. I do not look at celebrities as being role models since most of them are getting into trouble and causing problems these days.
