I've been trying to make soft cookies but they always come out hard. Not even crispy. How do I make my cookies soft? Please help me how.

Make sure that you do not keep them in the oven too long. Make them a little bigger and the batter should not be hard. Use a drop receipe, that should work.

I totally agree with the first person. Don't leave the cookies in too long. Also, once they have cooled, try to keeep them in an air tight storage container. That way they stay softer for a longer period. It might also depend if your ingredients are measured or fresh. Hope your future cookies turn out softer than they have been!

Thanks for your advice. You're right about keeping them in airtight containers. I do that also.

I love soft cookies. I always take them out a couple of minutes early and let them finish cooking on the cookie sheet, but for only a minute or 2. Take them off the cookie sheet before they get hard.
