Bride marries corpse An Indian woman who failed to wed her lover during his lifetime has reportedly tied the knot with his corpse. Tulsi Devipujak, 20, got married to the body of 25-year-old Sanjay Dantania after he drowned in a well, reports Press Trust of India. The couple, from Anand in Gujarat, could not marry earlier due to restrictions imposed by the local council because they belonged to different castes. It is reported members of bride's family dressed up the dead man like a groom and conducted the marriage rituals on a decorated stage. My question: Where did they spend their honeymoon and was the marriage consumated?

This is truly weird. If he is deceased, then how do they know he wanted to marry her? Let me know if you find the answers to your last question. This makes absolutely no sense to me, what good could possibly come from this? She will be grieving and sad and this is a no win situation. How sad. Very strange news indeed.
