Does anyone else suffer from itchy ears? Did you go to the doctor and what did they tell you. My ears itch all the time. It is driving me nuts. I clean them out and they still itch. I cant afford to go to the doctor so I have to suffer with this. If anyone has any home remedies please let me know.

If you really can't pinpoint a possible cause, it might be worth a trip to the doctor to get a good exam of your ears.
As you know, you can't see into your own ear! lol not even with a good mirror.
Something that should be safe to try would be to put 2 drops of olive oil in each ear, then massage around the ear to get it to coat the ear canal. Then don't put anything at all into your ears for 2 days and see if you get relief.
Another thought might be food allergies. The offending food is something you eat frequently, possibly even daily. Oddly, people sometimes even crave food that they're allergic to.

I used to have that because when i would wash my hair, the shampoo would get into them and i dont rinse out my ears so then the residue would irritate them and make them itch....i dont know if that is your problem though....you could get a anti-itch cream and put it on your ears

I too suffer from this itchy ears since a long.
I went to doctor he checked it thoroughly and told me nothing is wrong. The doc told me I should drop two to three drops of cooking oil into each ear, and it would soften the skin so the ears wouldn't itch as badly.
It works!
You too can try the their is no harm in it, neither there is any side effect, so just try for a week and I am suer you will feel relaxed from this itchy ears forever.
If the problem again comes back you repeat the method for a week.
After 2-3 trials you will come out of this permanantly.
