fecal incontinence

Have you as a parent had to deal with your child suffering from fecal incontinence? What steps did you take to help your child? Did you provide a toileting routine? Did you change dietary habits? Did you see a specialist? Any suggestions for other parents who may go through this with their child?

This is something that requires a doctor. it isn't often that you have this sort of problem in children. It could be just the beginning of other developmental problems that need to be addressed.

This is definitely something you should discuss with your doctor and your nutritionalist. Depending on the frequency and consistency of the issues, it could stem from any manner of sources usually dietary though. My son had some difficulties when he was very young where we had to give him suppositories, but only the doctor was qualified to say that was what the right thing was to do in that particular situation.
