Here's to you, soldier

Here's to you, my hero To risking your life for mine To the nights you didn't sleep To the dispair you saw and To the hopelessness that you felt Here's to you, my soldier To the bullet that you took To not losing your sense of humor and To becoming a man of passion and integrity Here's to you, my red, white and blue To freedom and pride To bravery and courage Here's to every lonely night To every missed memory To the romance in waiting and To the handing over the control of your world Here's to our future To long kisses and walks in the rain To the commitment we made and To the decision to rise above the pain of the past Here's to love To the chances taken and the challenges that lie ahead To knowing that two will always be stronger than one Here's to us

Those soldiers at war - my heart bleeds for them. I know how difficult it is to be in a war. Always at the brink of danger. They just don't know when the enemy attacks and how. I do not wish to be caught in one. I have a good idea of how devastating it is and how gruesome. Anyway, may the love of your life come home safely and may you indeed become one in a happy ceremony and have a blissful life forever.
