Traffic Rules and Young People

With the increasing no. of vehicles running around the city nowadays, and inreasing no. of accidents happening daily, too. Does drivers, especially youngsters nowadays really knows how to follow traffic rules and regulations?The son of my Godmother had an accident a week ago, it was a serious one, that he almost lost his arm... (good thing not his life) i pity them because they can't do anything, like file charges to the fella who hit them... coz they are on the wrong side of the road. i felt sorry for them.

you will be surprised at how well youngsters know their traffic rules, not that i am a youngter. Accidents happen because you forget to be on your guard and i think that is the main problem of most people nowadays. either on the pedestrian's side or driver's side. when you are on the road, ALWAYS BE ON YOUR GUARD. people nowadays are so caught up in their own problems and businesses, everyone hurrying to get somewhere. rules are bound to be broken, overlooked or ignored for purely selfish reasons and that is when ACCIDENTS come in.

you can be right in some cases, but i cannot agree with you completely... try visiting our Land transportation Office and observe, you'll find out what i mean. These youngsters nowadays aren't even aware what is "first stop, first go policy" And it's a different thing for those people who get caught up in pedestrians...
proper seminar, and training should be imposed strictly.
but what i found out lately, they no longer exist!

do you know how serious the problem can become? that if the authorized department of the certain country, no longer give new driver the proper seminar and training!
that's when the problem becomes worse to worst! huh!
