Do you think festivals are loosing its importance

Hey folks what do you think when festivals are approaching you simply see them to celebrate those days as holidays or you simply love festival . you would enjoy them even if there is no holiday on that day .

I don't think festivals are loosing their importance in our area, southern Michigan USA. A lot of the small towns around us have festivals all through the summer months. For different occasions and reasons. One of the biggest in our town lasts for 3 days and is the Civil War Reinactment. People plan on this all year, finding different equipment, making costumes, planing for their stay. It's really big and people come from all over the country to watch or take part in the activities.
