Sachin is all time great batsman of india, india has ever produced. In the last 4 eddition of worldcup, sachin played a significant role. So as per his present form and past records i think sachin's role is very very important in this worldcup. I guess in the qualifying round Sachin will score 2 Century against Bangladesh and Bermuda. And in the Super 8 Round he will score at least one century. Hopes for the best if sachin will play like this then we can win this world cup.

sachins role in this world cup will be to bat in the battle order and accumulate runs in singles with occasionall boundaries something that michael bevan does for Australia did in 1999 world cup.we saw our indian team struggling in west indies in our last tour 2006 during one dayers where we lost the series 4-1.our middle order didnt perform well after good start was given by sehwag in two games.also in second odi we lost the second match by 1 run.so the team management wants tendulkar to hand around in middle overs and playing singles while yuvraj, dhoni would go for thier shots.

I think Sachin will play the main fiddle around which Indian batting will revolve and he will surely perform very well.

Sachin looks in an average form, so it wont be too good to expect too much from him! But as we know, Sachin's record has been fabulous when it comes to World Cup games, I have a secret faith in my heart that he will play really well and maintain his wonderful record in probably his last world cup! As far as qualifying for Super 8 is concernt, its as simple as that! Beating Bermuda and Bangladesh is like swallowing ice cream.. This much is enough for letting India enter Super 8.
