how you can make your internet speed MORE than before?

i had done the normal thing i knew about my explorer and my conecction setting in Win XP.
but i want to make my internet faster...can any one help me this way?

that depends on your service provider, make sure you have the fastest connection that the server offers. I have extreme high speed but it is very expensive

wintirose is absolutely right, i mean even if your computer has a high specs but your service provider no good.

Hi rima0013,
I thought I would tell you some tips if you want to speed up internet on Win XP. Here are the steps:
1. Use Firefox as your browser. (http://www.mozilla.com/)
2. Use Speedguide's TCP Optimizer (www.speedguide.net/downloads.php)
3. Use a spyware cleaner and Anti-Virus software as these also sometimes slow down your connection.
4. In the end I'll say that if you are not satisfied with your internet speed then contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider).
