I went to the store down the road from my house. I always go to this store and I know everyone there. I went to pull up in the drive when I noticed six cop cars, an ambulance, and a fire truck outside. I waited and then backed up down the road and went to another store. It turns out that a boy was approached by a few teenagers who told him to go in the store and buy them some beer. When the kid refused, they jumped him. The boy ended up in the hospital in critical condition. When I first moved into this neighboorhood, it was a wonderful neighborhood. The irony of it all is that I am suppose to be living on the good side of town. Why is there so much violence in this world?

I don't know if they have caught them yet, but I hope they do. I have a step son that use to play outside and now I am scared that this might happen to him. My husband won't even let me go to that store by myself now.

I think people are getting really unruly these days. Even the slightest things will annoy them. I cannot explain it but I notice that as the day passes by, people are more aggresive. Not many people I meet on the street are ready to say hello or even smile. It is a strange phenomena. Even youngsters are getting rude.. Tsk, tsk... hard to explain.

yup, I agree. I am from the country and we would always wave as we passed each other on the street. I moved to the city a few years ago and people just seem rude. I am not saying that it is because of the city but maybe because i knew everyone in the country and it just seems that there are a lot of rude people and a lot of violent acts.
