I walked on U.P. grounds

Philippines

This morning I went to the University of the Philippines, Diliman, Quezon City. I studied there for my first year college during SY 1962-63. And so after more than 40 years, I've walked on the grounds of the University of the Philippines again. There are so many changes that occurred of course. I missed my former school. How about you? Do you visit your former school?

LOL! So how does it feel to see your school after more than 40 years? It must be funny. I graduated in the province and I have not been to my school since then because I came here to Manila and it's very difficult to go back to the province and even if I occasionally go home, I don't go to the school where I spent many years to get the four-year course.

It must be wonderful to be visiting your school after more than 40 years. For me, I have not visited AMA University for so long a time now. I might be going soon to get my credentials.

After more than 40 years naturally there are many changes already. I studied at the St. Louise University in Baguio City and I have neven been there again. It's nice to study in Baguio City because of the climate, very conducive to learning.

It's a great feeling perhaps to be seeing again your former school after more than 40 years. How I wish I could go back also to my former school in Davao City. Even if I go home once in a while to Davao City, I don't go to my former school because I have nothing to do there but I hope I could also visit there.

Wow it must be great to walk on the grounds of your former university. I bet you reminisced the good old days. As for me, I have never gone back to my school because I have never really missed it after being gone for around three years. The memories I have from high school aren't really that pleasant and so I tend to avoid gong back there. I do think that time heals all wounds and I am looking forward to visiting my alma matter...ten years from now that it.
