my cat is mad at me-what can i do to make her feel better?

we have a shelf above the toliet from where she was watching me and i went to put away my brush and it slipped and scared her, she ran off and went hiding

i advice you to give a food and when she is eating , hold her or feel her head like brushing her head so she became close to you.
