Hi I have a 72 egg incubator, and I do all the things the instruction book says, but only between half and two thirds of the eggs hatch, the others chickens are fully formed and dead, looks like that the eggs in the back of the incubator, most come out , but the ones near the glass door do not come out but are fully formed. could you please have any suggestions thanks Kath

Yes... don't place eggs near the glass door... ;)

I am currently thinking of fabricating an egg incubator personally too. From my understanding is like you have not taken care of the heat circulation properly. Try using a fan to circulate the heat. there would be heat loss from the area arround the glass, so it must have adverse effect on the eggs close to the glass.
