What do you do to fight those cravings?

Trying to figure out ways to fight cravings and clean the cigarettes out of my life. A tip for me could be a tip for you.

Whenever I try to quit, I chew gum. Lots and lots of gum. It usually works for me, until I drink or eat big meals. It doesn't work as well then. LOL.

I just did regular gum, not the nicotine stuff. But, apparently it didn't work too well since I still smoke. LOL.

HELP! My last smoke was March 30th. I've been trying the gum chewing its not working, I'm very close to buyn a pack. I'm finding I am eating lots of extra so I don't smoke but I dont want food to replace the cigs cause I'll gain weight and thats not the plan, lol. Help any one out there got some tips to help replace these things. I didnt want to quit but I know I should for $, health my daughter but I smoked for 20yrs and I actually enjoy it except what it does to my health. BB smiles

I quit about 5 years ago and it was hard to do. I found the most difficult part was doing things like driving in the car. I always used to smoke in the car and I would get the worst cravings in the car. So I replaced the smoking with something else. I started drinking water every time I got in the car. It helped and I managed to actually quit smoking. Good luck.

Smoking is really a addiction and not easy to quit all of sudden. But good thing is there are many rehabilition center for helping to get rid of these habits. Try them and make a great change in your life.
