for me, the most important thing in life is to pass it peacefully and without any major ailments. i sometimes watch couples of my age-group (34-40yrs)with a single growing child like mine and i see how much effort they put into their everyday life. both the parents are forever changing jobs for better pay and benefits, the child is being given ennumerable tuition lessons in academics and extra-curricula, the house is being furnished & re-furnished, holidays are being planned, fortunes spent on it etc etc. but i do no such thing with my life. i have a simple, mediocre paying job & so does my husband. we cant afford holidays even in 3yrs, our only son goes to a middle-class school, once a week he goes for guitar lessons and that also irregularly, i never push him or myself into doing more with our lives. am i being correct? believe me, i have no intentions of making a nervous wreck of my family, but then how do the others do it? am i spoiling my child's future by not pushing him or am i correct in letting him enjoy his spare time? sometimes i really get worried that my son would be left out of the race if i dont instil a sense of competition in him but then again i sit back and think that he would have only one childhood i would like him to grow up as a human being and not as the CEO of an MNC. but then, shouldn't one aspire to see one's only child as the CEO of an MNC? i dont know, i'm confused. but one thing i'm confident of is i hold the health of my family as of supreme importance. i believe a healthy family is a happy family! what are your views?

From what I understand, you wish to have time for your family toghether, take care yours and your family's health and see your children happy and succesful. With that, you see your friends in a "rat race" to earn money, and you feel there is a trade off - you can't get a lot of money and still have time to actualy live. Am I right?

My aim in life is to make a difference. I am doing my best to help when and wherever I can. I study science in hope to advance humanity a small step ahead. I am getting married soon in order to raise a family that will continue to do good deeds after I am gone. I am helping people to be healthier and more economicaly free so they can accomplish their dreams. People with a sense of accomplishment contribute more to society. Those are some of my aims in life. Through helping others, I achieve my goals.
