I always do exercise with music, simply can't "perform" without it, not for the long run anyway, how about you? and if so, what kind of music, your favorite or something that must be up-beat?

Music mean a lot to me, i am a crazy lover of music and i cannot imagine life without music for me. While studying i play some heavy speed metal songs and study in that way i get some concentration. I play guitar, keyboard and violin so most of the times i am with them when the music plays in the background.

I listen to music about 14 hours a day, while studing, while working, whily surfing on net and whily playing music with my band. In this moment I'm listening to music. It helps me to study and to find my concentration. I think i shouldn't live without music.

I do not have a regular exercise program, but I do feel like moving a lot more when there is upbeat music. I mostly walk dogs for exercise, and they are rowdy, so a walkman is not a good choice for me. There are proven studies that show that people who exercise to upbeat music exercise longer and with a higher intensity.

Yes of course, when I go jogging I always listen to music. When I work out I always listen to music. Music helps to take your mind away from the heart ache of working out and running and gives you joy while you work and sweat your pounds away and while you bulk up on muscles. However I won't listen to slow paced music, I will want to listen to something with a much more upbeat tempo. If it's to slow it will cause me to get lazy, upbeat tempos will raise your heartbeat as well allowing you to work harder and lose more weight. :-P
