Not sure about price, but I would suggest buying a City Skateboard. Great quality, good pop, great new team. Its a good sport. City skateboards will probably be around the world in about another month. Keep on skating.

i would suggest goin to www.ccs.com and ordring a free catalog they sell pretty cheap decks and all kinds of skateboardin merchandise but yeah they are good quality to i use to skateboard with there decks and it seemed like i could ollie higher with their deck because they are lighter than girl/darkster and most others
