orkutting- a way of luring others for friendship?

today we can see anyone, child or adult, just peeping into the net and chatting with his/her friends. Most of the times we can observe that they are all just interested in increasing their number of friends and luring other's to pursue their friendship, even if they have never ever met or seen each other, they are keen in making their friends!How funny is this?
