john petrucci is definitely one of the scariest 6-stringers today. which one of his tracks do you like most? i personally like Glasgow Kiss, Flight of the Bumblebee(with Joe Satriani), and Smoke on the Water(G3 Tokyo). how bout you guys?

I have watched John Petrucci performing with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani, and he is a good guitarist too. Im not that fan of him so i dont know what are his songs but i know he is the lead guitarist of Dream Theater. I am right? And I also watched him in a dvd with his guitar lesson.

"better"!? come on, they are all great but different, I love Satriani more, but Vai, Johnson, Morse, and many more they have each his own style, but as "innovator"? Satriani has more points on that, Vai with the seven string and sitar guitar has also his portion, Morse has a great technique, and composition capabilities, Johnson is also as him very versatile and original in the scale's choice. Petrucci, has great technique, touch, good scale use and choice, and I like him a lot since DT, but he's of this planet... if you understand what I mean...

I like John Petrucci, definitely his one greatest lead guitarist like Joe Sat and Steve Vai, tracks i like on him was the Jaws of Life and also Glasgow Kiss, he had also lots of guitar lessons in the internet and dvd. I grab one for my reference in doing my scales and riffs in my bass. If one chance i meet him or we jam together, i think i'll be the one of the greatest bassist, we gonna rock the stage. lol. :)

Yes, Glasgow Kiss is beautiful, but lots of DT songs are good, and pieces with the DT pianist are quite interesting too. I believe WE WANT MORE! we need to talk more about him so that his sales also go up and he can compose more ;) hehe
