Most of my discussions have less than 10 response. It may be my discussions lack of quality or attraction. I have seen one common discussion have 280 over responses. This make me wonder what is a quality discussion? Why a common discussion have more response than a quality discussion? Can any one tell me how to attract more response on new discussions?

I'm not too sure myself. I just know what I like to write on when I see it. For example I enjoy things that are not too serious to where I can relate basically nothing to that topic. I like to be able to feel free and write something that might help and maybe be a little funny... its hard to explain. I have found that if my topic is way too far close minded then I won't get any responses. For example I wrote about a ps3 game that I loved to play and no one responded but maybe no one else likes that game or has ever played it.

In order to boost the response number, there are a few of tactics for your reference. Since I am not so good in getting more response, but I had read many discussions regarding this interest, so I can still summarize my findings and share a few tricks and tips. 1)Post discussion with controvercial title and put catchy phrase in the discussion description. Not necessary need to be long, but serve the purpose. Hope this help! 2)Tagging is very important. It determines how your discussion was placed and grouped. If you get your discussion tagged appropriately, then it will be published to the potential mylotters who have same interest, who has very high potential to respond to your discussion. 3) Make more friends and get referrals. Usually it's mutual. When you respond to people's discussions, they will respond to yours. 4)Upload picture to attract more attentions. 5)Market targetting. It's old school in sales training. You need to know mylotters could be average people from all walks of life. So, the discussion should be about something which is common to everyone and could be easily comprehended.

Oh we are in the same boat too! I’m still trying hard to create new discussions, hoping to arouse more responses in time to come. Beside I try to answer more discussions. I keep on browsing to those discussions with lots of responses. From there I hope I can learn how to create quality discussions.

Just wait and be patient! Actually, there'll be people who'll respond to any discussion. Different people, different interests. Maybe the ones who can really answer your discussions just haven't come along yet. All you got to do is respond in other people's discussions, add more friends, and continue starting new discussions. I had a few discussions too, which took about 4 weeks just to have at least 10 responses. I know, it's long but at least there are some responses. Better than none. Well, good luck!
