Why do people smoke ??

Well the nicotine is addicting in it. It's a way to relax and unwind. I only smole in the evenings and still finding it hard to quit. I could never understand how people could come addicted to booze. I guess most addictions are bad.

I really don't understand either. I think nicotine must be very powerful because people who are addicted have serious trouble kicking the habit. But I really don't get know how it is that people so easily get hooked, I mean, knowing all the dangers. I feel there should be no new smokers, but then again, I guess not everyone uses the knowledge available to them, and sadly, some people still actually give in to peer pressure.
