Slave workers, your fault, my fault?

When you buy something, do you prioritize price and quality or do you care more about the conditions for the worker that has produced your product? I guess that the vast majority of us go for price and quality but problem is that we seldom think of all the oppressed workers in the third world that produces our cloths, bananas, coffeebeans etc. These workers are oppressed! They work for 12-16 hours per day, sometimes even longer. Their salary is hardly enough for them to survive on and their is no chance for them to get out of their situation. So why should this concern you and me? i said it's partly our fault because we don't care enough. If people start to care about this it will cause all companies start caring for it as well. Because all the products that we see ar all results of what the companies think that we want. Am I right?
