Too much is too bad - It might not always be very good

There is a perfect way to build multipurpose muscle. See most guys lift weights from the outside in. that is they start with an idea of what they want their muscles to look like and go from there, pummeling their biceps and pectofals and abs with the most basic exercises. The result: big muscles that look really good from outside and perform really well in isolation, but lack simple balance and coordination. So mens shoudl start with the basic excercise and then move on to some super one because the main moto should be to remain FIT.

great picture, if I posted my picture I would look like a match stick in comparison as I'm more of a runner than a body builder. I go to the gym regularly and I totally agree with you opinion, my appraoch is a more rounded exercise regime and I include Tai Chi and Yoga into the equation which work on building core strength rather than bulk. Good first post and welcome to Mylot
