i recently heard on tv that some couples are actually changing the way their wedding vows are said, instead of saying "til death do us part" it is being changed to say "til our love ends". what?!?!?! what is this world coming to? it just makes me think, do people actually still take marriage vows seriously? it is sad to think that the meaning of marriage isnt what it used to be. i personaly, take my wedding vows to heart. i am going to stay committed to this marriage thru thick and thin. i am not going to run out if things are not going the way i imagined they would. i would do everything and anything i can to save my marriage before i called it quits. i just cant see how so many celebraties get married over and over again.

That really makes no sense to me. Marriage is supposed to be for life. I'm not judging anyone who ends up getting divorced, things happen. But I don't think that most people who get divorced ever thought that that would happen. If you aren't planning on being together for life then why even get married? If you're only planning on being together until your love ends then why not just stay boyfriend and girlfriend? That's really mind boggling.

exactly. i agree, i dont judge anyone who has gotten a divorce, because like you said, things happen. but i cant see going into a marriage already expecting it to end. then whats the point of getting married???

That is crazy!! Why bother getting married? That is like giving yourself an out before you have even entered in.

"till our love ends"???!!!!??? ok that makes me SICK! You can be gauranteed that they wont' be married for longer than 5 years. Love ebbs and flows,it's the commitment that keeps us together.
