There is a song called "Still' it is about a couple that have been married a long time. In it she says her husband is the " True Companion of my Soul" http://www.stlyrics.com/lyrics/titanicmusical/still.htm Do you have one?

I would have to say we seem to be my true companion. He seems like he will never leave. I am content overall with his presence. A comfortable union. Most days I am grateful. lol
I hope you have someone to call your own that you feel comfortable with and secure about.
