Being 18 for me has so many benefits. When I turned 18, my dad at last allowed me to celebrate with liqiours. Weeee! It's really a party. Then my curfew is already 12 midnight which is 10pm before, and *ten tenenen ten ten* my dad allowed me to attend overnights. Hahaha. I love being 18 because there are a lot of things which I can already do, but more responsibilities. Because first of all, I don't want my parents to think that I already do not know what to prioritize because of my freedom. So balancing is the keyword.

i thought i would have to act a lot of normal when i was turning a year from 18, but my cousin talked to me and told me that i dont always have to act like mature. i can act however i want but act normal/mature when necessary. i have a lot of cousins who are like in their early and mid 20s and act like little kids but do know when to stop. some are even a couple and have a child and still act immature when it is fun days. if you are turning 18 and afraid, dont worry about it. im 19 and i act like a little 7 year old for fun haha also with my brothers.

Hi, joanna08. I remember when I was going 18, my parents got stricter. During that time, "contillion" is the vocabulary of every debutant. But in my case, my parents did not celebrate my 18 that way, whether in hotel or someplace, they refused. Instead, they've given me a credit card and offered to let me buy anything I wanted regardless of price. I never took it against them. Besides, I am a shy type that time that I can't stand smiling and dancing in front of so many people for long period of time.
