do you believe that global warming is happening right now? i just saw the inconvenient truth by al gore and it says that the world is already becoming hotter and ice caps are starting to melt. this soon will lead to the rise in the sea level that will cause some places to be merge in waters. what is your opinion about this?

It does not matter if global warming is a myth or not. The fact is that if our planet is warming up as part of a natural cycle which has happened in past history... we are going to be affected in a much worse way than lets say... 1950... For the sole reason that our population has doubled since then... and we have to feed an extra 3 billion people. If this climate change affects agriculture... we will simply not be able to feed those people. If the ice cap melt... sea level will rise as the extra water need to go somewhere. And most big cities around the world are on the coast. Any city which is not at least 20 metres above sea level is at risk... as it is not only the rise of sea level... but also the storms creating waves of 15 metres which could flood any coastal city.

yes, i certainly have read all those things you have mentioned in the internet and saw it in al gore's documentary of the inconvenient truth. That really is scary. But i believe there is something that we can do. We can minimize the emissions that we give off in our atmosphere. ths could start in the individual level. You see, if this scary event coming up will not happen in our lifetime, it still will be happening in the future generation so we must be concerned about it.

Unfortunately... there is nothing we can do about it. We should have done something 30 years ago before it got out of control. No matter what we do now... it will get worse everyday until the whole thing blow up in our face. Our technologie is not capable to support 6 billion people without creating pollution. And you need to achieve zero pollution before being able to reverse the process and restore the damage we have done.

maybe you are right. But at least our little acts of concern can help out than just ignoring the reality that this planet is facing. somehow to lenthen the life for this world somehow..:)
