Horror movie fans rejoice!!....DEAD SILENCE

What a week this is shaping up to be. Just got back from seeing "Dead Silence", and it was....drum roll please....EXCELLENT!! I had high hopes for this as it was from the makers of Saw and i wasn't disappointed. Don't expect the high gore of the Saw franchise as this one goes for the creepy vein and scores big time...tons of eye-rolling, creaky ventriloquist dummies and really good use of sound and soundtrack (all the sound seems to get sucked out from around you when the creepiness starts...weird effect but very cool)....this coming Friday we have Hills Have Eyes 2 which looks absolutely kick a$$....I'll let you all knoe on Friday afternoon

Awesome, I can't wait...we loved the Saw movies...so naturally we already intended on seeing this. I dunno if I can handle the Hills Have Eyes 2 tho...the 1st one scared me enough!! lol.
We watched this other movie last night called The Return, with Sarah Michelle Gellar. We thought it would be scary, but it was more thrillerish.

I actually just bought The Return on the weekend and am going to watch it sometime this week...heard it wasn't very good, but I'll give it a try

Well, it's kind of one of those, "Can we just get to the point already?" kind of movies. But it's also easy to figure out. Like I said, we were just diappointed because we expected scary, and it was just a spiritual thriller. (which I like, but hubby doesn't) lol.
