Considering moving to Hawaii.

My fiance is in the Army. We are looking at where we would like to go for his next duty station. I thought of Hawaii. Is there anyone out there that has been stationed there or lived there who can give me some ideas on what it is like there?

I dont know how it is now but years ago if you couldnt get base housing than you might as well forget it cause the cost of living there was outrageous. I imagine if you arent married yet than you may as well forget it unless you can do some online looking to see if tis possible to even pick up an apartment near the base and what the cost will be.

We are married now, but we are stationed in North Carolina now. We decided Hawaii wouldn't be a good choice for us, because of the expense and because of how much time he would be in the field and not home. So, no Hawaii for us hahaha! Thanks for commenting!

i've not been there but i would like to go there once time in my life. i would like to go there in holidays but it depends from our finance, good luck
