If you could be a movie producer, what type of movie(s) would you make?

If I had that gift and ability to produce, I would make a movie from the early american days.. I loved Little House and The Waltons.. Shows that were wholesome and had some good substance to them. I would say it would be called "Good Old Golden Rule Days" and would center around the early american school.

I would make a 3D movie about the spirit of God. How He is alive, and loves everyone. It would be like no other movie made. I would need you in it, as you are such a talented artist, and you could make some great creative sceens. The sounds would be different, and there also would be some "feeling" introduced into it. Ex: wind blowing in the theater when God entered the screen.

I would bring back film noir.My studio would be known for our character driven, hard hitting dramas and thrillers.And after that takes off , I would start another company that would adapt plays for film.All tpes of plays. My door would be open to the indepentant visionaries, because if a film is well made but it doesn't make any money thr first weekend, it will okay. Because I would be indepentantly wealthy and I would make films because I want to make them not because I need it to make millions in the first weekend.

I am a sci-fi movie lover and if i get to make a movie then i will make a science fition. i like movie life ET the psi factor...science doing a lot of wonders ..its really nice to know all this...even the supestar movies like batman or superman batman involve a lot of scientific tehniques and their powers or origin alao inlcude a lot of scienc.

If I could be a producer ,I would make a horror movie that actually scared people instead of grossing them out and there certainly wouldn't be any girls dropping their clothes either.Maybe a noce sci/fi movie or a war .Maybe an historical one. I couldn't just pick out one kind of movie. AS for actors or actresses,I don't haveany one in mind because I am really disgusted with celebrities.

I've not been a producer before though I have been a director for several Chinese productions in school. I also was lead actor for an English production once. *wink* But nah, I am not into this aspect of the arts. So given a choice, I wouldn't want to be a movie producer. :P

I would love to see all of the action, excitement and suspense I like without all of the violence; I'd like the tough guys to be able to use a sentence without 5 cuss words in it...they can be intelligent! And I like good story lines. We see enough garbage in the news...who wants to pay good money to watch serial killings or some such thing?

Assuming I am going to produce a movie, I would of course have an abundance of scripts to choose from and I would chose a suspense thriller type that can blend in the light comic relief without losing the story line and shows a plot with a twist or even unexpected ending. I would also insist on a cleaner dialogue, a good character can convey a thought or feeling without using thrashy language. It would also be nice to have the characters display some moral fortitude for a change. Dealing with important issues is a good thing too as The Net and Enemy of the State did. The popular thing now seems to be taking many characters from several places and throwing them together, such as Crash or some TV series like lost and Jericho and Heroes. This only works if you wish to deal with multiple story lines and sometimes this doesn't work because you get into too many story lines to generate a decent story line involving them all as is the case with Lost. Sequels are all right if you can keep the same cast so your characters don't lose their sparkle and credibility. But beware of the weak story line...your cast can only act with a good script.

I'm a fan of sci-fi movies. I think in this field, a lot of ideas can be developed to make very pleasant movies. An awesome idea for making a colossal is the time-machine traveling. It's a fact that 'Back to the future' was very addictive, but I think there could be even better results, due to an excellent mind as the Steven Spielberg's one.

First off, it would be original. I am so sick and tired of all these remakes coming out. Can't they come up with anything new anymore? The genre of the movies would probably be a fantasy romance for young adults. Maybe something that involves another dimension, reality or universe. Sort of like The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe or Alice In Wonderland. I'm not sure what the plot would be though.
