Why fishing is so great even when you don't catch any.

I went out to the lake yesterday with my great friend SenkoMan. The water temp was 38 degrees, and the air temp was 32 degrees. We had been cooped up for so long that we actually busted the Bass gear out. Obviusly we knew that we weren't going to catch anything...And, we didn't. However, the day turned out to be so beautiful and after such a long week at work, there was nowhere else that I would rather be. Bottom line about fishing is, it is about the experience...Not the big fish story, or $200 rods and reels. Enjoy the fishing...nut enjoy your time away from reality more.

fishing is just an excuse to get out in nature and enjoy it I think sometimes if you catch a fish, then you have to clean it and cook it anyway easier to just buy a fish sometimes I guess already cleaned and boned its nice to dream about all the pretty fish too I can't afford all that expensive equipment though either when I swim in summer sometimes a giant Koi , 3 feet long, swims in front of me, I gasp and enjoy that very much, Its 3 colors (white, orange and black) also the Bass often nibble at my feet
