this is seriously weird...probably the greatest tennis player of this age always ...at least of late is prone to loosing on clay...i seriously wonder how can this happen especially when he can adapt and play so well on other courts how come he struggles on the clay courts??

Fed has been used to grass , as that is what he learn t the game on in Switzerland , while Nadal learn t clay in spain.they both ace on their prime courts and flop on the opposites.Nad gets kicked all over on grass while fed is slaughtered on clay.Fed rarely beats nad on clay. Both surfaces have a different feel and rates of friction.Once ur used to a type its not easy to adapt to another.I can tell ya this cause i play. And on clay i rule, but on synthetic i got beaten by kids half my size!!!!!!

u see Federer gets whacked on clay cause of one reason.u see unlike most clay players, our man Fed learned to play on those grass courts back in Switzerland. He really ain't used to all this clay stuff. That the same reason Nadal Gets whacked on those grass courts.
