Do you read the ENTIRE post when you respond to someone's post?

Or do you just give your reply and leave it t that? Sometime I will go thru and read all of the replies if the discussion is an interesting one. I also find myself replying in several different areas of one persons post. What about you?

sometimes i read the whole thing, especially if the topic is interesting. but when there are jokes, or the like, i just post some generic replies.. such as "nice one" blah blah blah.. lol. but i do my best to read the whole post, so that at least my reply would make some sense.

Yeah I guess you're right, if it's just jokes there's not so much to see from the beginning anyway. And yes reading the whole thing does make your response more well rounded. Thanks for taking the time to reply to my post

On interesting discussions I read the replies. I like to read anyway and it isn't a chore because I like to hear the different view points of different individuals from different parts of the states and even of the world itself. They give me some new pointers and I like that. I like discussions that have a little meat to them. That make you think. The responses to those kind of discussions are extremely interesting.
