Internet Dating Sites

I have a very close friend who has been encouraging me to sign up in one of the internet dating sites. I don't really believe that I could really find the man that I am looking for there but just for experience and curiosity sake, I signed up today...LOL. I don't really have the patience to be nice when I am not and to show my best self when I like showing otherwise...in short I just have no patience for that sort of thing...but just the same...who knows. right? I used to have this prejudice and low opinion of those who registered in such internet dating as desperate and not very marketable in terms of being husband or wife material. But it slightly changed when my very same close friend found a very good man through one of those internet dating sites that she has been dogging me for over a year already to do the same. Heck! what can I loose...he he he! though Im not even ready yet for any relationship. But heck! I will never be ready if everything will be left to me. Anyways, it's a subject or experience worth exploring and will definitely be subjects to my discussions in the future.
So what do you think of those internet dating sites? Did you have any experience with those sites?

I hope that time would come that you would be ready to take such risk again. It is given that if we love we somehow get hurt. It is indeed called living than merely existing. I hope you would find the man who would love you for the beautiful person that you are.

I did internet dating and i have my recent boyfriend right now and he's from the internet.. I found this fun.. I love my boyfriend so much, though, were not yet already meet in person. We are on our 5mos. and our relationship still growing everyday and i know he loves me the same what i felt to him. And he's planing to met me this summer.. I'm so excited for that day..

I have had good experiences with internet dating. I have met people on dating sites that I have then had long term relationships with. I have also had a lot of fun dating lots of different people.

Your response actuallly put my mind at ease my friend that there are actually good people there for long term relationships and that it's not a breeding site for serial killers...LOL..what an imagination! ggr...and I might be insulting some people too..sorry! I can't help it..I was brainwashed by my mother actually and I never got to try such in my 31 years so this is a first for me. Thanks for responding.
