HELP...I love my partner but...

I really love my partner, problem is, we have such a boring life together now , we hardly ever do anything together anymore(we've been together 5yrs)... We're both in our early 30's!!!. I don't want to end things with him but we only ever seem to argue over the slightest thing... Whenever I ask him to sit down and watch a movie with me, he even falls asleep... (This is so annoying)... Please can someone advise what I/We should do...
