I really like to ChaCha but it can be discouraging...

I am currently a ChaCha guide and I really enjoyed it for the first 2 weeks while I was being trained on my keywords. The problem is I can't keep up with all the rules and regulations. I have done about 42 searches and my status still remains at Apprentice level. All my keywords are mastered and I know there can be a difference in actual level status but how am I suppose to advance if I'm on the computer with ChaCha for many hours and I get one maybe two searches hoping they aren't pranks and be satisfied with that. I am really trying to give ChaCha a chance but they are making it very hard to understand and keep up. I have read all the knowledgebase, the handbook, watched the videos, I know i'm catergorizing right. Apparently, I am not the only guide this is happening to. Hopefully if it is a technical error they will have it fixed soon. Just ranting....would like to earn some money. I hear the other guides talking about how they have gotten their first payout and I can't wait for that...Ok rant over now...Happy ChaChaing...

I had seen this site. I have been trying to find out more about it. I live in a very small town, I don't know anyone who can sent me an invite. How did you find one? I would like to give it a try.

Currently the invites are inactive because they are trying to weed out the "bad" guides but if you would like to give me your email address..I can give it to one of my sponsors and they will send you one when they become available again. You can send me your email in a private message or directly to me at redstrawberry113@msn.com. I can also provide you with a ChaCha toolbar if you would like!

When I first joined months ago, I promoted to 'pro' after about 50 training searches. After that, I was getting real-time infoseeker searches, and able to train other guides, and the privilege to invite new guides, yet I only showed status 'pro'. I went to the Cha Cha forum and found out Cha Cha had a glitch and that many who were really 'master' status were still showing 'apprentice' or 'pro'. Have you given feedback on this to Cha Cha? They may not be aware that their is a technical error like this with the new application, like they had with the old. The knowledge base is like your best friend--when Cha Cha-ing is slow, I am always in the knowledge base reviewing. You'd be surprised how many guides never look and read, and are making mistakes that are outlined right in the 'code of conduct' yet they have been Cha Cha-ing for months. Like the most common mistake which is to start a session and say "Hello, How are you?" or Guides using smilies or abreviations like 'LOL' in training sessions and with infoseekers--clearly stated in the code of conduct 'Not' to do these things, with explanations of why. I find the new guide application is much more user friendly. Again, you may want to give feedback and find out why you have not been promoted--they may not be aware of the glitch if there is one. Also, look in the Cha Cha forum, and there is another forum you can join that is for us Cha Cha guides: http://www.GuidesHQ.com

I am sorry you are having so many problems. I just opened my app after taking about 2 weeks off due to school. To my surprise my training is "complete" and I now have a ton of keywords. Two weeks ago, I had 20 searches and only a few keywords and was at Pro level. I guess they made some major changes. When you train, how long does it take for you to find your results? When I was training I could find good results and adding comments in 3 minutes or less. I did practice a good bit with the searches you can do by yourself.

I'm right there with you. It's frustrating that I'll leave the Guide App open and wait and wait and wait, and all I manage to get are training requests. I've had ONE real request, that was canceled by the user after just a couple of seconds. Granted, that did put $.02 into my account, but that's still all that's there. *sigh* Hope it picks up for both of us soon!
