What city makes the best pizza, national pizza chains are not what I'm asking a

I know, I know, any city in Italy. But I would be in serious trouble here if I didn't put in a plug for NYC! What city makes the best pizza, national pizza chains are not what I'm asking about?

pizza - I love pizza, especially extra cheese pizza. Pizza pizza pizza
I would have to say that Boston in the North End makes the best pizza. Someone told me that they have so many pizza places you would think you were in Italy. I've also been told that New York City has excellent pizza. Chicago I guess would be my third choice even though I know you only asked for the best but I have heard on a talk show that the windy city is the best for pizza so I couldn't leave it out for really tasty pizza. But wherever I went whether it would be California or Manhattan no matter who makes it I love pizza.

I have only lived in the USA. But I have been to a lot of states. NYC and Chicago make the very best pizzas. It's something to do with the water, and how the dough is thrown.

For a thin crust pizza, New York is the place. But if you are like me and you love a deep dish pizza, it is Chicago.
