soulmates

How would you know if you've found your soulmate? Does soulmates mean you are meant for each other? Can soulmates be two people of the smae gender?

you know i dont blieve in soulmate........maybe....maybe 2 gender....but what soulmates mean to you? 2 individual?same gender or different gender.....

for me,, soulmate is someone whom you can connect to..like you have the same interests, same almost everything and someone whom you can understand even in silence...it doesn't have to be a romantic relationship...it can be considered as deep friendship, for me..

I really don't know because i didn't find mine yet.. as for the same gender thing I guess the expression "soulmate" is usually not used for friendship, if someone is a homosexual it would work for them a same gender soulmate .. but if you can call a very close and intimate friend a soulmate without the living together or physical relation then people can find soulmates of the same gender..
