I just found out that Verizon has been charging me every month for a service they have not been providing. It would be ok if they could just refund the money. No harm done. But they can't. They are photos of stuff I sell online. So for who knows how long I haven't had photos for any of my items. Next comes, how much money have I lost? I don't know if I could take someone serious selling online if their photos didn't work but It gets worse. I don't know if I will be able to retrieve them from their online storage space they for some reason locked. And guess what? I replaced my hard drive about a year ago. It died. Not crashed so I don't have the photos to upload. There are too many companies out there to let one crap on you. So I have to get a new dsl service as well as fix the link in who knows maybe 50-100 auctions. Ebay is going to be mad that I didn't write new auctions during that time. I am so angry, but instead of dwelling on it I decided to vent. This puts me way behind if I have to replace them. I am going to have to look on disks and files, who knows where, 2 other laptops & another computer. We all know what it is like finding photos. Scattered about on several computers. Its messed up. I called them and got disconnected. Even worse. So I had to call back. I knew more about the service than tech support. I said when I go to my website everything loads except the photos that you host for me. The guy had the nerve to ask is your computer connected to the internet. WTH? =S Needless to say that was the wrong question and I will not tell you what I said. Needless to say they were no help & I have to talk to someone during the day. The bill is paid. It always gets paid & has never been late. I did my part. I can see if I paid it late every month but I don't. I am tired of these companies doing what ever they please. Poor service and it is every where. I can't even go to a restaurant without the order being wrong. Almost every time. This one place I went there because I loved the one I went to when I lived in the city. They brought me the wrong food. I bit into it and felt something that I didn't order. LOL. Its not like it was frozen or something. They actually put stuff in I didn't order. I went to the same place about a year later. And you will never believe it but I think I got the same guys food. It was the same mistake. I don't like mushrooms. See my profile. LOL. Two times a year apart. Needless to say they are no longer in business. I am a firm believer in if you are not going to do the job right to give it to the guy who will. If you hate your job that you are going to cause other people grief... quit. You will feel better. Go for the job you want. Do you you love. Life is short do what you love. I was so angry, but instead of dwelling on it I decided to vent. And now its better. So what is your customer service horror story?

Lol you sound like me sometimes.i know how you feel..I have never dealt with verizon but i first got T-mobil,you talk about sorry..I had to leave my house to even to use my phone..It would not work inside my house...So after fighting with that for two years until my contract was up,i got a sprint phone..they were not quite as sorry as t-mobil but i still had to go on my porch to use the cell phone..So now i have cigular, finally I really like them, they have roll over minutes,if you don;t use all your minutes they roll over until the next month, and now my phone works everywhere...It seems that somehow some weird ringtone company got my cell # and started charging me,so here i go calling cigular, well they told me i had to pay the bill, but that they would give me a credit for it the following month which they did..so that was good.............so lets talk about food! I live in a small one horse town, beautiful place but not much here..well first went to the chinese place, closed cause it was sunday...they opened a new mexican food in town,so I go there..This big waitress looked to be about 15 or 16,comes and ask what too drink , they brought that,,,20 minutes later they brought chips and salsa, then another 15 minutes they come and take the order..thats already 35 minutes...It took them one hour to get the food to us,orders you guessed it was all wrong..I finally got up and went to the manager to get silverware,no spoon and i ordered soup, you can't eat soup with a fork,so back to the manager..finally this place starts filling up with people ,well the boss finally has to start working..It was a mess to say the least..The food was good, but the service stunk..hopefully they will get it going better before i go back..Everywhere you go now days its a hassel..you always run into a problem..so i understand how you feel, its like they just don't care or lazy or something..They hire people that you cannot understand what they are saying, and then you know more about it than they do and they are suppose to be working there..Everytime i asked that waitress something she looked blank and had to go ask if they had this or that..Same way if you call about your computer when you are having problems..They have only dial up where i am no dsl,and its a hassel to do anything with dial up,it is so slow....So Now i vented..I feel better..How about you? do you feel betterLoL

I think customer service has gone out the window. The owners don't care as long as you pay. I have big problems with Wal-Mart too. People don't know how they conduct business. They have unethical business practices that they don't tell you. They are CHEAPER not less expensive. They actually contact companies & threaten to not carry any of their products unless they lower their cost to $x.xx. They don't tell the buyer that. Do not buy wal-mart. I bought the same hedge trimmers ( the best they had) from Wal-Mart & the hardware store. The hardware store was closer & $5 more. Anyway the products were not the same. It was like they made a crappy product for wal-mart. It was not even close. The only thing that was the same was the color. The wal-mart box was the same. My employee grabbed it up while I went to the other side. He was like WTF you get this piece of %@*&%@%. I was like right. The are they same thing. Until I used it. It was like the motor wasn't as powerful & the plastic was not as sturdy. I don't like wal-mart at all. But what do ya do when wal-mart is all there is?

I had a friend in Missouri with a Cingular problem but they had to pay. I don't remember what it was. But I remember getting the email. I understand that people need to train for a job. But they need to have someone with a new waiter or waitress. 1 hour is unacceptable. My girlfriend wouldn't have let me stay in there that long because I may have caused a scene. LOL If I hire someone to carry stuff they are not going to know any of the plants. And it gives me an opportunity to see if they want to learn or carry stuff all of their life. When we are driving to a job site I try to make them learn the plants by talking about them and pointing stuff out as we drive by. Then I ask them to go get stuff I talked about just to see if they have interest. If someone doesn't want to learn I am not going to waste my breath. They can be the go get it & carry stuff guy.

I really hate it when bussiness act as if they were doing you a favor, taking your money. Recently my internet provider dropped the access number I used, with absolutely no warning to customers. When I called they said "oh, stay with us, we are sure to get another number for you soon" duhhhhhhhhhh, I should pay them for internet service I can't get??? What really got me, was the provider I replaced them with did exactly the same thing, two weeks later. Again, they didn't seem to get that I didn't intend to pay for a service I wasn't recieving. I am sorta holding my breath everytime I go on the net now.

Its a shame how these people do business. All they had to do is send a letter or have another # as soon as it changed. I know that they had known the # was going to change in both situations. As a fellow business owner you know what is going on 2 weeks from the day. They think that we owe them something. I personally will not go back. Customer service is important and there is more than one internet provider. Now time to look for one of those websites that will pay you to sign up for an isp. Thank you for your response.

Yeah, I have a crazy boyfriend who likes to yell and scream at CSRs even though some things really aren't their fault. He just can't seem to deal with the fact that sometimes service will be poor. Maybe it's best to discontinue using their service and find a company that treats you better. It is a shame, though that they all don't treat their paying customers like gold.
