I have a daughter, she is 10 years old .when she was 5 years old,she started to study the piano.she told me she hate playing the piano, because the exercises were boring.her teacher said to me that she was smart but she was lazy,it was difficult to improve level. although i arranged a good plan to exercise the piano, but she wasn't interested in it,in her spare time, she likes reading all kinds of books most. i am sad,it is right to interrupt to study the piano?

I think interest is the best teacher. Your daughter is a clever girl, she likes reading, she enjoyed it.Our babies are grown up,we should respect their idea. This is only my opinions for your reference.

I don't think you should stop here since you and yuor daughter have began. In my opinion, you should continue. However, interest is the key point. You should try to get your daugher interested in what she is doing. You may give her some prize when she makes progress and let her practice with some other girl students. Besides, some freedom should be given. If she likes travelling you may let her take a trip as a prize. Good luck!

Parents always want their kids to become a very excellent one,so they will arrange some things to their kids, for example, dancing, piano and so on.But do you consider their feelings?Do they like it?I think interest is the most important for every kinds of study.Maybe, your daugher will be a greater writer,so pls just let her do as her thinks do.
